English4Kids day camp is aimed towards children who want to learn English during the holidays – without having to leave the country! During the day camp we play, practice and go on excursions together in English. The aim is for the children to develop their English skills in an inspiring and effective way.

Objectives and content

•  Sweden’s most popular English language camp for children since 2005.
•  Day camp with fun excursions every day for children aged 6-12.
•  Four day-long camp in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
•  Introduces and develops children’s English skills.

During the English4Kids camp we focus on making the language learning fun and motivating the children to have the confidence to speak and play in English. That is why we combine traditional teaching methods with games, arts and crafts, song and drama. During the camp we have the possibility to work with the children during a longer time period, and can therefore use exercises and techniques that delve deeper than in our term-time courses.

The children are divided into groups based on age and level, so that the contents of the camp will be appropriate for their level and interests. To make a safe environment for them we have several coaches per group, and when possible we make sure siblings and friends can be grouped together.

We start the day at “Base Camp” where we do exercises is vocabulary and grammar, linked to the theme of the day and adjusted to the different age ranges. The day continues with an excursion and activities, and the children are ready to be collected at 4pm.

Upgrades, and our coaches, are focused on ensuring the children are inspired and motivated to continue learning English on their own after the conclusion of the camp.
