About Upgrades

Upgrades is an education company that offers tailor-made language lessons for individuals and businesses – one-on-one or in groups. To ensure that you as a customer maximize your learning we always accommodate the lessons to your schedule, current level of proficiency and other wishes. During the lessons we combine language learning with motivation and study techniques, striving to help you meet your individual goals and continue learning after the end of the course!

Since starting out in a garage back in 2009, Upgrades has expanded rapidly and won the Gasell award in 2015 for being one of Sweden’s fastest growing companies. We are proud of being able to offer personalized education to thousands of customers, and at the same time offering jobs to over 100 coaches every year – a win-win situation.

Our private tutoring is tailor-made for each assignment – according to your company’s needs and the knowledge level of the employees. In order to deliver language tutoring suited to the participants’ level, we test where the employees are today according to the CEFR scale (A1-C2) and together set a target/goal. At the end of the tutoring, we then test whether the individuals have achieved their goals or if continued support is required.

All our education is adapted to suit one or more of the 6 levels in The Central European Framework of Reference for Languages scale. Our web test aims to give you an indication of your current level, and can be used whichever language you would like to learn or improve.
